While submitting the Articles of Organization form, you will have to pay a sum of money in the form of filing fee. Some experts consider this fee as a disadvantage of the LLC. Generally, all the states have an affordable filing fee which is usually around one hundred dollars. However, there are also some states which charge an additional annual tax fee of eight hundred dollars along with the filing fee.

Generally, the length of the form of Articles of Organization is brief and it is also easy to fill it. This form requires only the basic information such as your name or the names of various owners of the LLC, complete addresses etc to be entered. The name of the individual, who will act as your registered agent, should also be mentioned clearly in it. It will be the duty of this registered agent to handle all the legal documentation related to your limited liability company.

The final step to begin your own LLC legal, is to make the LLC operating agreement. It is not a necessary need to be fulfilled as per most state laws, but it is always a good practice to create it. This agreement includes some general points like the rights and responsibilities of all members, allocation of profits and losses, rules for having meetings, etc. The last step to form your own limited liability company is to acquire all the necessary licenses & permits required for the operation of your business.
